There is right mixture of comedy, romance, drama and action, the only lagging part is the narration which is affected a bit at the cost of songs in the second half, but again the commercial aspects have to kept in mind. Songs are excellently shot, trademark Shankar way. The last 45 minutes of the movie which stands out for shankars vision and visual effects is going to get him international acclaim without any doubt.He has proved that he is the best director in the country at the moment and by some distance.
SSRK has shed his general mass image and given a top notch classy performance. Rajnikanth plays 3 characters and does it with ease. Fans can rejoice the fact that this one movie where its Rajni(hero) vs Rajni(villain) and the sight of 100 Rajni's on screen is going to make them go berserk. You just cant stop admiring the energy level of this 60 something man. Fact is, whatever the biggest superstar in the country does, he does it best and the audience love him for that.
Aishwarya RB stands out for the dace sequences and glamour quotient. AR Rehman's music and background score are assets to the movie.Kalanidhi Maran deserves praise for supporting the movie and he is going to be rewarded big time as this movie is going to break the banks at the boxoffice.
Robo is not just a movie, its an experience never felt before for the Indian audience.Success of such movies will help many budding directors to explore their creativity.
